GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Devatop Centre for Africa Development is seeking a passionate and skilled ICT Assistant who is eager to leverage ICT in addressing human rights issues. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, proactive, and collaborative—a team player who can support both strategic and tactical ICT initiatives that promote and protect human rights in Nigeria.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in web design and management, and who is committed to using technology to drive social change.

Note: The job is strictly for applicants that reside in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, manage, and maintain the organization’s websites and other online platforms.
- Oversee the functionality and updates of the TALKAM Human Rights App and other tech platforms
- Coordinate activities at the TALKAM Human Rights ICT Lab.
- Install, configure, and set up laptops and mobile devices following Devatop’s standard protocols.
- Test and evaluate new technologies to improve service delivery.
- Install and maintain software as required.
- Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned by the organization.
Qualifications for ICT Assistant:
- 1–2 years of experience in web design, web management, and related ICT roles.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong multitasking ability.
- Reliable, diligent, and capable of working independently and in teams.
Educational Qualification: BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any other related field
