POLICY BRIEF: Strengthening Human Rights Case Management and Survivor Protection
Overview
Nigeria continues to face significant challenges in responding to human rights violations, including trafficking in persons, gender-based violence (GBV), sexual exploitation, and child abuse. Despite progress, systemic gaps persist in survivor support, inter-agency coordination, digital case management, and funding.
The 2025 TALKAM Human Rights Dialogue and Case Management Forum organized by Devatop Centre for Africa Development convened government agencies, civil society organizations, international partners, community actors, and survivors to co-design solutions for a more responsive national protection ecosystem.
