PRESS RELEASE: DEVATOP CENTRE FOR AFRICA DEVELOPMENT RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM THE FOREIGN AID BRIDGE FUND

ABUJA, Nigeria (Sept. 9, 2025) — Devatop Centre for Africa Development today announced it has received critical support from the Foreign Aid Bridge Fund, an emergency fund created to sustain high-impact organizations affected by the U.S. foreign aid freeze. The U.S. foreign aid freeze has created an unprecedented crisis for frontline organizations globally and without this timely intervention, millions of people risked losing access to life-saving services.
In response, Unlock Aid, in collaboration with Panorama Global and other partners, launched the Foreign Aid Bridge Fund with a clear mission to provide emergency funding that enables organizations with proven impact to continue serving their communities. The Foreign Aid Bridge Fund was created to make sure essential organizations like DEVATOP Centre for Africa Development do not have to shut their doors.
Devatop Centre for Africa Development extends heartfelt appreciation to Panorama Global, Unlock Aid, and all partners of the Foreign Aid Bridge Fund for their commitment to keeping vital services alive for those who need them most. This support will enable DEVATOP to sustain its human rights programs, strengthen community responses against human trafficking, exploitative child domestic work (CDW) and continue running the Talkam Human Rights App, a digital platform that empowers citizens to report, track, and address cases of exploitation and abuse.
