Abuja Office Location: Kukwaba Galadimawa, Abuja
Job Type: Full-Time
Duration: Six Months renewable based on performance and funding
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
The Program Assistant will provide administrative, programmatic, and logistical support for the implementation of Devatop’s ongoing projects. The role involves coordination of activities, communication with partners, data entry and reporting, documentation, and assisting in planning and execution of field and office-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support for program implementation.
- Assist with organizing trainings, meetings, advocacy visits, and other events.
- Maintain documentation and filing systems for project activities, reports, and correspondences.
- Support in tracking project deliverables, indicators, and timelines.
- Liaise with partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders under the direction of the Program Officer.
- Assist with monitoring, data collection, and report writing.
- Prepare minutes and action points from project meetings.
- Support communications team in gathering content for visibility (photos, stories, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall program implementation.
Qualifications for Program Assistant (Intern)
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in NGO program support or administration.
- Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of human rights, gender, or youth development is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision.
- Experience with social media or digital tools for advocacy is an asset.
