Employment Type: Contract Staff – Part time
Duration: Short-term (4 months), with possibility of extension
Devatop Centre for Africa Development is seeking a qualified Impact Research and Learning Coordination Lead to support its monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities. This short-term engagement will focus on strengthening evidence generation, impact measurement, and organizational learning to improve program effectiveness and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate impact research/survey and evaluations across DEVATOP’s projects.
- Conduct and write research papers.
- Develop research tools, frameworks, and methodologies for measuring outcomes and impact.
- Document lessons learned and best practices to strengthen organizational learning.
- Produce high-quality reports and knowledge products for internal and external use.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Monitoring & Evaluation, or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in conducting and writing research papers.
- Proven experience in impact research, MEL systems, and organizational learning.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines.
Engagement Details
- Duration: 4 months (with possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability).
- Location: Abuja or Lagos
