Introduction:
Devatop Centre for Africa Development is a leading youth-led anti-human trafficking and human rights organization in Nigeria, with focus on combating human trafficking, gender-based violence, irregular migration, and supporting survivors and at-risk youth.
DEVATOP is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria and has impacted over a million people through training, advocacy, community projects, sensitization, and assistance.
Objective of the invitation: DEVATOP is seeking for contractors and consultants to undertake the following tasks:
- Upgrading of TALKAM Human Rights Reporting App (DCAD/T/01)
- Setting Up of TALKAM Human Rights ICT Lab (DCAD/T/02)
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Upgrading of TALKAM Human Rights Reporting App (DCAD/T/01)
TALKAM is a human rights abuse reporting platform that enables citizens to send report human trafficking, gender-based violence, child abuse, and other abuses. Currently, TALKAM App in a basic form, and available only on Google Store.
Features for the proposed upgraded TALKAM APP include:
– Compatibility with Andriod, Iphone, and Windows
– Web-base version
– High Speech
– Directory of Human Rights NGOs
– Membership Management
– Virtual Help features
– Data Analysis Dashboard
– Petition (feature that can enable citizens to create petition against abuses)
– Interactive Online Human Rights Course (10 courses)

– Multiple Languages (English and French)
– Personalization and Search
– Chat (private, public, share, comment, likes, etc)

Expected equipment/materials for the setting-up of TALKAM Lab:
- HP Desktop computers (32 inches- Touch Screen)- 2
- HP Laptop- 1
- Solar/Inverter Power supply (with the capacity to power one computer, fan, three bulbs, and television)
- Television (32 inches) – 1
- Smart Board
- Relevant Software (Microsoft, etc)
- 1 workstation table with four chairs
- Projector screen and machine
- CCTV cameras and monitor
- Microsoft Windows-10 License software both operating system and functional application like windows and installation
- Computer Networking Device
- D-Link Wireless Network Adapters
- D-Link Wireless Access Points/Routers
- Cloud Hosting/Server
