TALKAM – AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE (4th Phase) STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

To facilitate the maximum optimization of resources and achieve the best output, in the implementation of TALKAM Against Human Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence (Phase 4) project, we held a stakeholders’ meeting on the 14th of December 2021 at Women Trafficking and Child Labor Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF).

The project, TALKAM Against Human Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence (Phase 4) is supported by U.S Embassy Abuja and in partnership with Project PINK BLUE and Active Voices. The project is aimed at protecting vulnerable groups such as women, girls and children who are at risk of human trafficking and gender-based violence.

The stakeholder’s meeting was attended by 9 participants, mostly representatives from, Devatop Center for African Development, Active voices, Project Pink-Blue, Women Trafficking and Child Labor Eradication Foundation and members of Network Against child trafficking Abuse and Labor.

During the meeting, the project was discussed, and the planned activities were reviewed, edited, and updated with the aim of fine tuning the training content, social media contents and scripts for radio program. The need to join hands and heads together in the fight against trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants were emphasized and stakeholders promised to give their best to the actualization of the objectives of the project.
